Dr. Patrick R. Ruopp

Dr. Pat is a graduate of Notre Dame High School.  He has a number of hobbies including NASCAR, bird watching, stamp collecting, and pin collecting to mention a few.  He also is the family chauffeur, running Brenton and Alyssa to various activities

Donna has two children and welcomed her second grandchild, Quinton, to the world in January 2009! Big sister, Tatum, is even more excited than grandma and grandpa! Donna loves to gush about her grandchildren as much as the next proud grandma and looks forward to hearing about your family, too.

We have been fortunate enough to have Donna’s smiling face with us for 30 years as of January 2009! She is experienced in all aspects of the office, and feels a real connection with our patients and community. Donna will be happy to assist you in scheduling your next appointment.

Dawn is a certified dental assistant.  She has been a member of the Ruopp team since 1989.  She is a graduate of Jackson High School and her hobby is shopping.  Dawn is married to a national guardsman who did a tour of duty in Iraq and is employed at AT&T.  She has one son. 

Jamie Wisdom

Financial Coordinator

Jamie has been with our team since 2001 as a certified Dental Practice Management Administrator. She is well versed in insurance policies and will be happy to aid you in maximizing your insurance benefits and answering your billing questions. She enjoys getting to know patients and looks forward to meeting you. She and her husband,
Jason, are awaiting the birth of their second child just in time for
Christmas 2009. Big Sister Allie is super excited to meet her new little sister, and Jamie looks forward to catching up with everyone when she returns from maternity leave in February 2010. Donna will be happy to assist you with any concerns while Jamie is out

Sherry Tenkhoff

Certified Dental Assistant

Sherry has been with our office since 1982. She is a dental assistant certified in expanded function. Sherry loves going to her kid’s sports activities and summer outings on the lake. She is married and has two children.

Janice Johnson

Appointment coordinator

Janice relocated to Cape with her husband, Jim, from Piedmont, MO. She has two sons, Cory and Zachary, both of Cape Girardeau. She enjoys all sporting activities and spending time with family.

Janice welcomed her first grandchild, Kolten, to the world in March 2007. She and Jim are on Cloud 9, already marking his achievements and watching him grow. They were thrilled to welcome their second grandchild, Kynna, in April 2009. Big brother, Kolten, is certainly proud just like the rest of the family. Janice loves to share all their stories & we are so excited to see them growing up!

Charity Korando

Dental Hygienist

Charity has been with us since August of 2005. She graduated from SIUC in 2003 with a B.S. in dental hygiene. She lives in Chester, IL with her husband, Jeff, and her two dogs, Abby and Shelby. She enjoys spending time outside with family and shopping. Her favorite part about her job is interacting with patients.

Charity & Jeff welcomed baby boy, Brandon Matthew, in June 2009. Charity looks forward to sharing his adventures as he continues to grow up so fast!

Jenny Tindall

Hygiene Assistant

We welcomed Jenny to our team in December 2005. She has an incredible work ethic and fabulous organizational skills. When we aren’t asking her to help us organize our closets (we really wish she would J), she keeps herself busy organizing charity poker runs in her hometown of Chester, IL.

Jenny has two dogs, Chopper & Evo. She enjoys riding motorcycles and spending time with family and friends. Jenny looks forward to meeting you and helping you achieve a more beautiful smile.

Amanda Lowry

Administrative Assistant

Amanda has been employed here since January of 2005.  She is currently attending Southeast Missouri State University where she is majoring in Accounting.  She lives in Jackson with her dog Wrigley. She enjoys playing softball and spending time with her family and pets. 

Julia Abernathy

Dental Hygienist

Julia graduated from Perryville High School in 2002. She began pursuing a degree in dental hygiene at SIU immediately after high school. Julia started working as a hygiene assistant in our office in 2003 and continued to work with us throughout her college career during the summer and between semesters. We are pleased to announce that Julia graduated from SIU in 2006 with a B.S. in Dental Hygiene and joined our team full time as a dental hygienist. Adding to her joy in 2006 is her marriage to Jackson Volleyball coach, Tyler Abernathy. We are excited to finally have Julia with us full time, and hope you find her clinical skills & outgoing personality as extraordinary as we do. She looks forward to seeing you at your next preventative care appointment!
